    H&H Old Companion

    I like it too smokey, but I have to really go slow, or it bites me pretty hard. However, it has a roasty, toasty, maple like sweetness that is tough to beat! All the best, Jeff T.

    Ah, this was the second blend I ever tried. I used to be able to buy it at a local drugstore in pouch or tub. It was a bit sharp at the match, but smoothed out nicely. My now deceased KW bulldog loved that blend, and seemed to sweeten it a bit. I can't find it anywhere except online these...

    The only reason I don't smoke Walnut more often is that I have to mail order it. If it was as available as Carter Hall, or Prince Albert, it would get more action in my pipes. As I have to mail order almost all of my tobacco, I spend a bit more to get what I want... Jeff T.
