Ive got 3 meerschaums and i never had to go through a break in period in terms of getting the best smoke out of them. Im sure what youve heard might not be false im just saying i never noticed much of a difference. I prefer briars but to me meerschaums are way less maintanence

So i was cutting up some Samuel Gawith Brown no. 4 to smoke later, when on a whim i popped one and chewed on it. Turns out it actually tastes pretty damn good and got a nice nic kick. I dont think its for me though, the whole spitting thing is just way too nasty! Anyone else try this?

Bout to pull the trigger on an Ardor, but before i do, does anyone own a Don Carlos pipe? I was looking at some of them online and they look very nice, but i dont own one and dont know how they compare to Ardors. Any advice?
