Interesting pipe. I've been seeing quite a few black meers on Fleabay lately.
By looking at the shape of the P on the stem I think the pipe you have is made by Pioneer, but I might be wrong.
After dinner I commenced to breaking in my new Hardcastle Crown stubby billard with a 50/50 mix of Presb. Margate/Pembroke. (I was told Pembroke ain't nothin but Margate w/ Cog-nak added). The mix really thinned out the cognac flavor. I shoulda been a scientist... :)
