I never counted my pipes, but I'm sure that I have close to 300, including Cobs. Of these, maybe 30 are new, the rest are Estates. Given proper consideration, Estates are great pipes, often better than new ones. Your first won't be your last!

You had better believe that the pipe makes a difference!  i did the same thing as you did, with two different tobaccos, and the results were similar to yours. The differences in each pipe are somewhat remarkable. Great question.

I can't tell you why exactly, but I always liked Calabresi/Christiano pipes as well.

1 to 5? 5 to 10? 10 to 15? 15 to 20? 20 or more? (This doesn't pertain to tobaccos that you have stored for future use. It pertains to how many you have open that you regularly go back to on a regular basis).

What kind of Dye did you use on htis?

The last thing I want in a pipe tobacco is nicotine. Perhaps some of you more experienced pipe smokers can point out some of the best and worst tobaccos for nicotine, as well as which low nicotines might have the best taste.
