So I got some new briar and wanted to try a new shape. What do you think? I got it set up with tiger stripe on the sides and birds eye on the front and back.

I hope everyone stays healthy. Just making pipes to kill the time. This block had some great birds-eye.

Here’s another! :D

No travel has allowed time for pipe making. A little bent pipe with a Cumberland stem and deer antler accent.

This one is a little shorter than I had planned but I found a couple small cracks after I drilled out tobacco chamber and I was able to save the block.

I love the look that Morta can give. I don’t have a sand blaster setup so it’s a smooth finish.

Hello all, where has everybody been lately? I’ve been traveling for work, about 11 weeks out of the last 12. However, I still like checking up the various pipes and projects but I haven’t seen much in the last month or so! Anything new?

Today was a bad weather day outside so I roughed out this plateaux top. I’ll get it finished sometime this week. Need to true up the bowl shape then start sanding! ?

Here you go, hand shaped dark amber acrylic stem.

Here’s a new project w/ black&red cumberland stem. Here’s the finished pipe, the Cumberland doesn’t show well in the photos but really blends with the grain.

So, I got out of work on time (for once), got my workout in, then had time left. I roughed this out in a couple hours. Finished pics to come in a few days.? It had some decent grain for an ebuchaun block!

Here’s today’s project. I made them stem yesterday and the pipe today. The briar didn’t have a lot of figure but was clear of pits so I left it smooth. The stain on the pipe and darker lines in the stem are match and turned out pretty good. ?

Well I made a sitter and tried a new rusticated finish. Thoughts? It reminds me of a tree bark.
