Sorry for your loss too Nismo. It's never easy, but at least we have our memories.

Thank you for that Spud.  It made me cry, but I loved it.  Guess I'll never stop being an old softie.  :(

    Goodby Old Friend

Over the past 18 months I've had my share of challenges. Major brain surgery, prostate cancer and most recently I snapped my right kneecap in half. I would happily go through it all again to avoid today. Today we had to put our Lab/Pointer mix, Tasha to sleep. Tasha bought us over 15 years of...

    Cursed?

If I believed in such a thing, I'd say I've been cursed. As if brain surgery and prostate cancer weren't enough last year. Saturday I tripped while stepping over my lawn mower and broke my kneecap in half. I broke it about 5:30 Saturday afternoon, was operated on 9:00 Sunday and the put in...

    Been away awile

Hi, my name is Bob and been a member of this forum for a long time. I've been away a long time and now I'm back. I used to have a different log on, but couldn't remember it. Last year I had major brain surgery and a few months later was diagnosed with prostate cancer. I'm doing great now and...

    Lane RLP-6

Thanks for the recommendation, Bill. I've also been smoking a pipe for about 40 years, usually trying different blends and having dozens of tins and pouches open at a time. I've always avoided Lane tobacco because for the bad rap everyone gives it and Captain Black never tasted right to me. I...

    Greetings from St Louis

Evening all, my name is Bob. I've been lurking here on and off for a long time and I had thought I had joined before, but maybe not. The mind isn't what it used to be. I've been enjoying pipes for almost 40 years. If I were to pick my top five favorite tobaccos at the moment they would be...
