Im not sure about the real strong blends but I smoke alot of burleys and Vapers. I smoke them fast and hard (compared to most) to get that harsness (to stay on topic) that you are talking about.. my answer is "Yes."

if you live in the states id buy tobacco...Taxes going up frequntly and the shipping ban comming...stocl uip while you can....only PAD for me....when the shipping ban hits us all then ill start buying pipes again....JMO

Get some samples.....tryt them and order the ones you like for the cellar. One mans favorite tobacco might be anothers worst... I got samples from various etailers and when I smoke one I like I add to my next TAD order. To me...if its good now it will be better later...If its terrible now...

If I buy a pipe I buy it to smoke. If its to beautifu, expensive ect to where I wouldnt want to smoke it then I jut wouldnt Buy it. I know many people who buy pipes that they wont smoke and that is 100% ok with me.....I wont buy a car, bike, pipe, i cant use and tobacco I cant smoke...But this...
