When I can catch a few minutes of R and R in the evenings i have as of late re-watching the ORIGINAL episodes of the Twilight Zone... when you look at the years of production , the historical tensions in American  and the phobias the episodes touched upon in television viewers you realize the Rod Serling

Bingo. One of the best TV shows ever, until Rod kicked. The writing went south after that.

I have the entire series on DVD and watch it regularly. Arguable the best series ever on network TV. Serling was a genius!
