For those who don't keep tabs on such things, know that the drummer, bassist, and keyboard player were the same guys who always backed Stevie, and the guy on 2nd guitar and who introduced Bonnie was Stevie's brother. What an emotional night in Austin that was.

So I've heard. Never been there, though. Definitely on my list.

I produced several of Jimmie's Hard Rock Cafe shows in Phoenix in the late 90's, and one at the old Rialto theater in Tucson. I got invited to an after party following the Tucson one and met him. Very soft-spoken and humble. Must be a Vaughn family trait. (I never met Stevie but everyone speaks very highly of him in the same way.)

I wonder how/why he chose Louisville? Texas usually runs pretty deep, and he was from Dallas.

Because Louisville IS a good town.. Big enough to make dough, small enough not to blow.. Blues to Bluegrass, Metal to umm what goes with that but opposite? lol... 6 major universitys, 3 casinos, and the fastest two minutes in sports all in city or definatly within driving distance..

In other words I have no frikkin idea, but I'm glad he did.
