This was shot in '48. An old Moms Mabley flick.
If you don't know of her, she was one of the first female comedians back in the day before TV. And this flick is priceless.
There's plenty of slapstick in the first half and while it may seem corny today, that's what comedy was all about back then. Prolly not considered pc in this day and age but it's a slice out of history.
The second half features a show with some very talented performers, some of which were obviously athletes in their craft as well as wonderful music from that period.
