A little more of a barrel shape to the shank would have balanced out the form a little more, but it isn't as if I've carved anything that nice-looking... I'm just a stickler for details. 8)

The grain is amazing, in particular the birds-eye. The one thing that strikes me is the transition of the shank to the bowl. Though the transition shows the grain nicely (as seen in the first photo) it seems a little to think and not quite balanced from bit to bowl. However, I think the grain really helps you with this and you have showcased it the grain nicely.
