Sitting here watching the Oregon vs. California night time game.
Monsoon Rain would be an understatement. The camera shots look like Sealab 2000 underwater shots. The poor sideline TV gal is TOTALLY drenched...looking like a wedding cake someone dropped a swimming pool on. The football is like a bar of soap...squirting this way and that way out of every other play. The Ducks have obviously practiced 'chase the wet ball' on the Slip-n-Slide while being waterboarded with a firehose...Cal not so much.
But the players on the field at Autzen Field wearing green...they gotta LOVE the rain. At the half it's 41 / 3...Ducks. Ouch.
It's fun when your team, that's traditionally sucked last teat, is kickin' butt and takin' names. In the time it took me to write this... It's now 55 /3! What...does the team get a couple of extra virgin sacrifices for every TD they get past the 'total humiliation' point?
