I was given this little beauty by a friend at work.  His father had died and left it, among with other fly fishing items, to my colleague.  It had originally been his grandfather's.  It's a 9 and a half foot split cane fly rod and is a real work of art.  I might give it a little run out in the spring just to say I've used it, but more than likely it'll end up as a piece of wall art in my man cave.

It has real meaning to me as I used to live near Alnwick and know exactly where the premises are.  There's even a strip of grass in front of the shop where prospective buyers can try before they before.  Anyway, without further ado...





 
It's amazing dose it have a date I woukd say 30s or 40s could be older can't tell tho as a avid fisherman and ex bass tournament fisherman I have thrown a few flies nice rig there
