Well, I guess I'm one of the lucky ones that have tooooo many pipes. Some I've purchased over the past 49 years, some were gifted and I was lucky enough to have a WONDERFUL Grandfather that was part owner of one of the biggest pipe manufacturers on the East coast at the time. The building was in Brooklyn, NY. That's as far as I can go with that story, my Grandfather was a very private person. Being lucky enough owning many pipes I've not smoked I get the pleasure to secretly ? gift ? a pipe from time to time to a fellow pipe smoker. But still the reality is if I see a pipe I like and it's cheap enough.....youbetcha I'd probably buy it. Well at least I use to before retiring due to being ill and now on a very tight budget. However, I still keep my eyes open for " that fabulous bargain " on eBay!!! At times, especially when feeling better I make myself a pipe from Grecian or Algerian briar and I must say they're all great smokers as well as great looking pipes!!! SO, KEEP ON PUFFING ON WHAT YOU ENJOY!!!
