I scoped out a good spot surrounded by trees where deer consistently jump from the neighborhood onto one of the farms. It's in a deep hollow with a small pond. I found a nice pine went up about 40 feet so I was 15 feet above the ridge since my chosen tree was at the bottom. Just in case they did something weird and I found some coming back the other way....
I threw some deer feed 30 yards away and sat. One cow must have sniffed it out of a heard of 35. It snuck up solo and started eating around 530 and did not leave until well after dark. Probably around 7. I got down around 645...
The deer come through there every night around 615. Never wanted to shoot a cow with a bow so much in all my life.
