My First Savinelli

I'd been planning on plunking down for either a brand new Peterson or Savinelli, soon. This came up on ebay with a bin price of $30, but I offered $25. It was listed as something like "might be a Savinelli, " and it was.

Logo is clearly visible, but no model markings, probably due to the fill on the right side. No matter, it smokes wonderfully. The stem does have a nice fit that none of my other pipes have, so I can see the quality.

I think it's supposed to be a 673 KS.

You got a mighty fine deal!!! Nice lookin' briar!! My only fairly current experience with Savinelli is my "Bing" that I acquired a few years ago. My other several Savinellis' are from the '60's;grand smoking pipes!!! FTRPLT
