Nice looking cob. I have only smoked Missouri meerschaum cobs. I actually didn’t know there was another brand of corn cob pipe. Honestly I think it’s very hard to beat a cob pipe. Again very nice looking pipe.

OK...that’s Halloween level spooky.  I just got number two in today as well.  The only real difference in my two is the second pipe’s shank is a tad longer than on numero uno. Both of mine were purchased directly from the MM store too. I could be wrong but I think they’re the only vendor with stock right now.

I love these pipes. The value for the cost is insane.

WoooooooOOOOoooooooOOOOOOOoooooo!  That is Halloween spooky! :affraid:

I'm sure the new ones will smoke just as well as the older ones!

Here's a thought,  is there any pumpkin-spice tobacco out there?

Pumpkin Spice?  Sutliff does make a blend they call “Pumpkin Spice”  but I’ve not tried it. I might order some to see just what it’s all about. Besides, it’s sold as bulk and is CHEAP. 4oz costs under $8.00 at Smoking Pipes!

Then there are two candidates that I’ve tried...and they are not that close to “pumpkin”, being more Fall spices themed.

The closest might be Straus “Sleepy Hollow” which you have to call the Straus shop to order over the phone.  I get spice, nutmeg, nutty flavors. Some guys claim pumpkin pie.  This is sold just til the end of October...is a cult blend, being wildly popular among the seemingly small population that knows about it. This should be very Cob friendly...but what Blend isn’t?

The other seasonal blend that comes to mind is Peretti’s “Thanksgiving Day”.  This is a sweet and savory Burley Blend which is highly regarded. It’s very close to their “BB” blend.  Both are stellar in a Cob and I give both a 10/10.

Thanks for the info.  I'll let you be the first to try the Pumpkin Spice tobacco.   You can then report back about it.  Who knows, it might be tasty!   Personally,  I don't care for much pumpkin spice anything!  Pumpkin pie and bread is about it for me!

I went ahead and ordered some for myself and a couple of bags to use as gifts, etc. Also picked up the last half oz of Gawith Kentucky Nougat they had.

We’ll see.

Note: if you like cube cut straight Burley blends you would be well served by the Thanksgiving Day blend from Peretti. I don’t see it on their site yet. Maybe Noverber?
