Pipe cases...?

I've been considering what I need to travel properly with my pipes. I know Castleford makes a neat model with handles, 2 and 4 pipe "parking spots," plus tobacco storage...I need something robust, but not bulky.

...what's everyone use? What's good for the money? Where's a good place to get 'em? Pictures?

I had a MacBaren case once and got rid of it. The pipe slots were done in such a way that only a couple of very small pipes would have fit, and the detachable tobacco pouch had a horrible rubber smell. The thing I would really watch for is the size of the pipes that the case can accomodate, as most of the cheaper ones seem to be limited to small pipes. Later on I shelled out and bought a nicer Martin Wess case from Germany, and it was a huge improvement.

Kyle, I know that this suggestion might be a little out of the ordinary, but look at pistol cases. You can find some inexpensive cases that have a lot of room inside, plenty of pockets for pipes, room for tobacco and tampers, matches, lighter and anything else. Most cases have alot of padding too. I have a small one with handles that is perfect for pipes.

Pistol bags are an interesting option, but maybe too roomy?

Mike, I assume you use the magazine slots for the pipes? I can't see inside the case, there's no pictures, but I have seen plenty of pistol cases. It's funny, SKB cases are awesome too, I use them for my synthesizers.
