Yikes, they sure went through a lot of trouble getting a domain and making a legit-looking site.

Yeah, crooks will do about anything to make money. Here's a website front for credit card fraud-- http://amershop.net/ or amerstore.net. Many people found and are finding fraudulent charges of $2.95, $4.95, or $6.93 on their credit card statements from this company with a telephone # of 904-385-8028 or 904-385-3943. The card fraudsters will make a small charge first to see if it goes through, then hit it later for big bucks.

Jim...with a personal experience in having to get a new card

Here's another one: http://www.bigsmokes.com/ I think the site is shut down or something. Also the phone number for customer service is no good. I made an order on that site a few weeks ago, and didn't receive anything. As far as I can tell, my credit card has not been billed. Anyone have any other info on this site?

By the way, Since this is important information we need to know, maybe the moderators could consider making this topic a "sticky". It could be added to as needed. Just a thought.

A BoB member was an early one to report that suspicious site:

Same experience here (inc no credit card bill).

Anyone know the status of this? At least it's less likely to be a fraud. . . . (I hope)
