Uh, when I was like 10. I think it was my first ever taste of heavy metal. Lasted a short time, until I discovered Led zeppelin and Pink Floyd 8)

I had 'Dynasty' on 8-track. Look at my age in relation to when 8-tracks were still being sold.

Tells you how early I got into Hard Rock.

I like a lot of metal, and a few kiss songs, but I wouldn't say I was a kiss fan no. Some of Paul Stanley's solo work is pretty respectable though - in my opinion.

ROB i loved 8 tracks changing sons at a push of a button no fast foward and rewind to find your song it was great plus you could splice it together your self it the tape broke.

Yeah, when the heads got worn and dirty you could listen to two songs at the same time. Made me feel drunker than I really was.

Never was a KISS fan. But you gotta hand it to them, they are one hell of a money making machine, especially considering the fact that Gene and Paul can play just well enough to be in a band.

Have always been a Kiss fan. They have their place in rock music history. Love all their albums up through Love Gun. Destroyer is my fav. It is a classic album. Along with Kiss Alive. Ace Frehley's solo album is the best of the solo albums. Ace's guitar playing inspired many hard rock guitarists.
I am not into them touring with other guys in Peter Criss and Ace's makeup/outfits.

Saw Ace a few years ago live and he sounded great. One of the best guitar tones live I have heard.

Kiss and Alice Cooper were both highly influential more on metal aesthetics than music, but made their mark in their own unique ways. Some of the Kiss stuff is fairly heavy for its time too.
