Well briar mills do most of the job, thats why we try to find a properly air-cured briar. A pipemaker can store the briar for more air-curing or try his magic with oil-curing.

It turned out into not only a really great first pipe, but a really great pipe. Thank you for sharing all these photos and thoughts, it was relly good to see your updates. Now, keep making pipes, don't stop... :D

I don't have any problem with this vinegar smell cause I'm smoking McClellands tobacco at least one month after opening the tin and I leave the tobacco that I want to smoke 1 hour out of it's tin to dry.

My first english mixture was Dunhill MM695, I loved this tobacco.Then Onyx and Squadron leader were good for my taste but I still can't smoke them more than 2-3 times in a week.
