Yeah mike. Maltese Falcon is just perfection for me. I think that's what i'm really looking for, english blends with sweet virginia undertones.

Popped my tin of westminster, its absolutely delicious. It's a tin from 2008 march (couldn't wait!) but so good i can only imagine how it is aged. Not quite sweet, but so good it doesn't matter. For variety I've tried frank packing it, using pirate kake for the plug and its a great transition...

I've tried topping Pirate Kake with some Laphroig, didn't really taste it too much. I should try repeated treatments.

Hard to find indeed, but great tasing and so smooth! I lived on this when I was in school.

This should have been great, nice resounding pop when opening the tin, smelled fragrant enough... Taste is really flat and empty. The cognac didn't make it past the Clinton era, it seems! :sleep:

This stuff is just wonderful. Theres a lovely sweetness on the toungue from this stuff that I don't find from similar blends like Odyssey. It burns perfectly too. I'm currently smoking the last of a tin from 06 that's been opened for about 3 months and still smokes wonderfully. If I could...

ha! for me its more like one droopy watery eye in the middle of my face staring at a point in space an inch from my nose. At least that's what strong virginnys make me feel like :suspect:
