    SOTD: Shave of the day

The WCS Campfire is way better than Williams. I want to love Williams, because it's cheap and smells good and seems really classic, but it is terrible. The WCS Campfire, to me, works best with a boar brush and face lather. That said, it honestly isn't as good as a lot of other soaps, later-wise...

    SOTD: Shave of the day

I should have mentioned this in my previous post, but this one may be more what you're after. I honestly forgot I had it until after I posted, but it has a very nice smokiness to it. Reminds me of the part in Spaceship Earth (at EPCOT) when Rome is burning. West Coast Shaving Campfire...

    SOTD: Shave of the day

I also tried a sample size of the Stirling Texas On Fire, and was also disappointed. I was looking for something much like you seem to be: a flannel shirt post-campfire is a good way to describe it. There's definitely a smokiness to it, but something else that I don't really care for. I've had...

    What are you smoking?

Still trying to find a replacement for McClelland Three Cherries. Today I had Captain Black Cherry in a Stanwell Brushed Brown pot. The tobacco was pretty gross. The hunt continues...

PSA: Frog Morton and Others In Stock at Smokingpipes.com

Picked up 3 tins of Frog Morton. Not my favorite McC blend, but good enough for me to get some, even if it's just for nostalgia's sake. Plus, like I mentioned in another post, I like the art on the tin.

    Day of mourning

I am definitely in. I don't think I have any Dunhill tins open right now, but I have some McC stuff jarred up.

    For the Love of Lakelands

The only Lakeland blend that I genuinely like is Bosun Cut Plug from G&H. It ghosted my oldest pipe, so it is now dedicated to it. I understand how it may not be for everyone, however.

    What are you smoking?

This morning, on my way to work, I had some 7 Seas Original in a Stanwell. I'm not a big fan of the 7 Seas, but I don't want it to go to waste. I've been looking for a new aromatic, since McClelland is closing up.

Mac Baren’s Capstan Blue Navy Cut Flake

I picked it up when it was first re-released because of the legend that it was the tobacco that J.R.R. Tolkien smoked. I ended up loving it and snagged a few tins. I'm glad I did, because now it's pretty expensive.

    Real Aussie Licorice

I love good black licorice. It is in my top five of favorite candies. I usually prefer the Scandinavian brands. My current favorite:

    McClelland Going Out of Business

I just got a pound of Three Cherries from this place: Payless Cigars and Pipes. I would've ordered more, but tomorrow is payday, and I couldn't risk it being sold out. I doubt it will be, but still... I've never ordered from them before, but desperate times call for desperate measures. Also, if...
