The High Grade Pipe Market Today

Excellent information! Thank you! Now, my question is about Radice pipes and the new business model they have adopted of selling direct to retailers. How will Radice pipes fare in the market with the influx of "affordable" Radices? I for one will sorely miss the oil-cured pipes they made.

    Nut Brown Burley

I just received a reply from Carole. Here it is in it's entirety: "The future availability is tentative, so I have pulled it from the tobacco page until it is resolved." So there you have it. I still know nothing more than I did before the response. :x

    Orlik Dark Strong Kentucky Flakes

    Nut Brown Burley

I have e-mailed Carole to get the straight info on this. I will post what she says as soon as I hear back. In the meantime, here is what to do to stretch your existing stash of NBB: 1. Get some quart-sized mason jars 2. Get a few pounds of McClelland X-10 unflavored burley ribbon (light...

    Nut Brown Burley

Very true. I have 3 pounds of what is named "Nut Brown Burley" yet it is only similar in name...the stuff burns hot, sour and harsh. The cut is different and is mostly dust and a few strands...the "cubes" are like dried pastina. Tragic as I lived for that blend. I mourn it's loss. Two good...

    Looking @ a J.M. Boswell

Hi Bruce, I have about 20 Boswells now and each one of them provides a perfect smoke every time. Can't ask for much more than that from a pipe, eh? Everyone I have recommended them to has loved them as well. As far as estate pipes go, I share your sentiments regarding EBay, however, there...

    "Fables" in pipe smoking

I like this topic... I smoke flakes in any size pipe as opposed to the idea of using very small shallow pipes for flakes. I smoke strong tobaccos like Gawith ropes with my breakfast coffee. I have also smoked them on an empty stomach and have lived to talk about it. I have smoked cheap...
