Banjo, another amazing pipe. Sadly I learned Christian Wolfsteiner of Tarock Briar passed away earlier this year in February. Far to young and not sure of any details??? I feel honored to have one of his amazing works of art too.

I have just acquired this B.Barling & Sons Bulldog. Do any Brothers know what year this pipe is from? I don’t see many craggy “bulldogs” in the Barling line. Not sure if I have something special or not. Any information would be appreciated. Tom " />" />" />

rothnh, Yes I have taken this pipe out to smoke this weekend in honor of Yuriy.... BTW that is not ring grain but Yuriy owns special time consuming rustication process that made his pipes so special. I read somewhere he said he wished he would have mastered the sandblast technique. I surly am...

I really enjoy deer tongue herb. I live near The Tobacco Barn and Tom "the mix-master" adds deer tongue to cubed barley for me. I have watched the process and its about a teaspoon of deer tongue to 4 oz of barley. You need to give the bag or tin a shake before loading your bowl becasue the deer...

Just curious if there are any other Brothers living in the OC...I actually live in Yorba Linda...I've only seen 2-pipes smokers in my town. I'm pretty much a back yard pipe smoker, so I was thinking there might be more of us not so far from each other?
