I'm disappointed that with less than two weeks until the show, there is not a vendor list posted. Not as disappointed as I would be if I was a vendor though. I don't understand how the organizers can put in so much hard work to put the show together only to leave it up to trust/hope/faith that...

I see Dunhill pipe prices have increased about 20% in the last month or so. I can't remember the last time I saw inflation like that without a reason behind it. I also wonder if that has implications for other brands and/or tobacco prices. Any thoughts?

Yep. There is a review of Fillmore on the Pipes Magazine Forum from June 28, 2010, and in the comments, Greg Pease talks about adding the Latakia.

I'm pretty sure it's Fillmore. Just 1 or 2% Latakia.

Well, I can't compare this stuff to the old stuff.  I tried the mixture in the 90's, but I didn't appreciate anything about Virginias or Vapers back then.  In fact, just for perspective, I still don't appreciate straight Virginias too much.  Generally, I find them too one-dimensional and bland...

Last night I was smoking a bowl of Wessex Brigade Classic Virginia with Perique. My first thought was that it's a nice tobacco and that there isn't a very big gap between a nice tobacco and a brilliant tobacco. And yet, that gap makes such a difference. The virginias were sweet, but not quite...

I saw a post once (I thought it was here) in which a member with access to the appropriate testing equipment tested jars in various states of cleanliness for contamination. The new unwashed jars were the best (least contaminated).

I am happy to see Yuriy's pipes being sold on the scandpipes site now. I have two (that were a real bargain just three years ago) and I always thought they are superior to many of the artisan pipes out there these days.
