Thanks Ranger, I've tried the bees wax, doesn't hold through the whole smoke. Will give the nail polish a try. It is the second pipe I ever owned and a gift from my wife.
 
Relaxing after a wonderful salad, chicken legs and green beans dinner with strawberries for dessert. I smoked a bowl of year 2012 Rolando’s Own in a smooth straight early ‘60s Lane era “William Conrad” Charatan Executive Extra Large stretch apple with diagonal channel cuts on the lower right and left of the bowl along with a black vulcanite double comfort saddle stem. Deciding on the what the next smoke will be.

Ranger, where do you apply the finger nail polish, I have been wearing it all day and my pipe is still loose but my nails are rocking.

I really do not want to encourage this kind of behaviour but have you tried your putting it on your toenails? Just don't put them in your mouth to smoke before the polish is good and dry.

Now smoking Watch City American Cut Plug Mixture in a smooth medium bend terracotta Peterson POY 2023 X160 464/1100 military mount egg with a silver cap and a tapered black vulcanite AB stem. I may end the day with this smoke.

Didn't sleep, and got a major shock which you'll see in my next post.

Right now, I'm close to finishing this bowl of Wilke Little Round Top in an undated straight smooth brown pre-Republic Peterson’s Sterling bulldog 150 with a sterling silver band and a black vulcanite saddle p-lip stem. This blend is Back Bay with much less perique (10%) than the regular Back Bay.

Near the first third of this bowl of Watch City English Ernie-ental in a straight dark brown and tan rusticated Peterson 2023 Saint Patrick’s Day 264 Canadian with an Irish flag colored ferrule and tapered black acrylic stem.

I went outside to figure out the little squeals that I heard. To my shock, amazement and amusement, I discovered that Sam the Scamp is a girl, and she had five baby kittens under the back deck. We had wondered why her belly was so big, and why she wouldn’t stay inside lately, and now we know why. We brought them in the house because it’s cold outside. I’m very worried how Sleepy Suzy and Molly Danger will react to this, not to mention all the ferals, especially Daisy the Feral Princess, who hates Sam. I don’t know how in the world we are going to handle this, financially and otherwise.

Half way through this bowl of Wilke Picket’s Charge in a post-WW2 straight smooth brown pre-Republic Peterson’s Dublin 3 Shamrock bulldog with a nickel band and a tapered black vulcanite p-lip stem. This blend is Wall Street with much less perique (10%) than the regular W.S. Hope I'll be able to go to sleep after this.

Well Jim, that's one hell of a plot twist! Oh my....

They're wonderful. You have doubled your clan in one short week. I'm having MT in my Legend, with my coffee and wondering if there is even any useful advice I can give. You certainly know all the available avenues for assistance in your area, if anyone does.

Jim, do you have a good adoption agency or humane society in your area? Around here it seems like kittens get adopted pretty quickly.
