I heard Harry the Hairy howling loudly outside. Upon investigation, I saw poor little Abner the Eager hiding by the deck in the rain. Abner is a lover and not a fighter, and doesn’t handle confrontational cats well at all. I put down some food for Harry, called Abner, and he moved to where I could grab him, and bring him inside. I consoled Abner as I dried him with a towel, and he happily ate a bunch of dry food. Then he jumped on my lap which I think was his way of thanking me. He has a big heart.

Last smoke of the day is Watch City Queequeg’s Moby Dick Series in a slight bend smooth brown post WWII 1940s Sasieni Ivory 101 Westminster diplomat with a black vulcanite saddle stem. Abner's feeling better now, poor fella.

Good Afternoon my friends and fellow BoBs 😊. A big thank you to everyone who sent Mrs Z birthday wishes, she really appreciated it, and I'm pleased to say, a great time was had by all in the Mother Shipton Inn, a 16th century coaching Inn.
For my first smoke of today, it has to be Rangers Urban Cowboy, in a Butz Choquin Rodeo. As a foot note, I'll be really happy when my foggy head clears.
Have an awesome day my friends 😊

Good Evening my friends and fellow BoBs 😊.
Well it's been a very busy day here. Its Mrs Z's birthday today, so lots of people popping in and out, and the phone ringing incessantly. But it's been an enjoyable day. Will be going out soon for a meal and a bit of a bash, which I'm hoping is still a surprise to her.
But anyway, I have some time now for a bowl of St.Bruno in a St.Bruno. This pipe was commissioned by Ogdens in 1996, to mark its centenary of its St.Bruno blend. The maker was Murray Frame & Love. One of the last independents in the UK. Sadly I believe no longer in business.
Have an awesome day my friends, happy puffing 😊View attachment 17510View attachment 17511

Starting with CS Choctaw in a Lorenzo Old Vic giant bent billiard with CR morning coffee. Zippo, glad you and Patsy had a good time. That looks like a really neat place. Is it in the village where you live? Been meaning to ask, what is the population of your village?Have a great day.

Hi Buddy
Yes I live in a tiny village, with a population of 136 people. Unfortunately it, along with other villages in the area, is getting swamped by a new town, which has now been granted city status. And all the centuries old villages that surrounded it, are now being eaten up by the new city's expansion. This new town is NOW only 10 miles from me, and getting ever closer, with local farmers and land owners selling off to developers
