So what is everyone doing about their snuff supply?

Yessir, Scotch snuff. Good stuff indeed - cheap too. Never heard of it before, but I definitely like it.

So what is everyone doing about their snuff supply?

I'm no longer so desperate that I have to pulverize flakes. I just moved to Winston-Salem, NC- the tobacco shop down the road sells an assortment of dry snuff. It's labeled as though it's an orally administered tobacco, but it is as finely ground as any I've seen and dry as a bone. Very, very...

    Pease Pilgrimage

I just want to know why he dubbed it a 'pilgrimage' and not an 'Odyssey'. BA-DUM-DUM!

    Dunhill Microphone pipe

This was an award given yearly out in England. I don't know how many here are familiar with Stephen Fry, he too was the recipient of this coveted honor. He's an old Brit Wit, best friends with Hugh Laurie and I believe he's on the show Bones from time to time. Can't confirm that last one- not a...

Blends to pick up while across the pond...

Thanks for the suggestions. I've heard of Revor, and will have eyes out for that one as well as Three Nuns. I'm aware that the idea of pure tobacco is nearly non-existent- It happens to be the specific 'stain' left behind by cavendish and the blandness resulting from humectant-soaked weed that...

Blends to pick up while across the pond...

Thanks for the help guys. I imagined taxes on tobacco products over there must be through the roof. Rusty: I hope I didn't make myself sound to picky. Irish plugs sound fantastic. Any you might recommend? I just wanted to be specific about aromatics and blends containing cavendish. I can...

Blends to pick up while across the pond...

Taking a trip to the U.K. in a few months and was wondering if there were some tins I should keep an eye out for that aren't available to us in the states. I prefer straight-forward English/Balkans and the occasional VaPer. No aro's or blends with cavendish. Thanks for the suggestions mates.

    What are you smoking?

Two Stanwell's, two fine bowls of JackKnife Plug. I made an honest attempt at slicing quality flakes on the second bowl, but will say that I prefer it in a 'dirtier' shag.

    What are you smoking?

Going out to give Frog Morton a second chance. McClelland should pay me for the labor inherent in drying this stuff.

    Tobacco Suggestions

My wife loves the smell of Escudo. She says it's her favorite. I can smoke it on a car ride without a single complaint.

    Penzance-- and here we go...

I too am a shameless Penzance junkie. That is the smoke that got me hooked on English blends. I don't necessarily compare the taste of all English smokes to that of Penzance, but I do compare the feeling I get when I light them up for the first time.

    Noob Milestone

Cograts. Stay persistent. To this day, I still find the uber-finicky blend that challenges me to keep it lit with each puff.

    Penzance-- and here we go...

I saw the earlier heads up about Mars, so I've been watching everyone else like a hawk waiting for some stock to come in. Hopefully there is a supply that can at the very least remain steady. Maybe even sink the price-gouging ship. Wishful thinking... The amount I picked up would...

    Penzance-- and here we go...

:affraid: :affraid: :affraid: Thank you for the heads up. I just checked P&C this morning and they had none. I have not smoked the venerable Penzance in so long. Now I've got a nice, several tins coming my way in the mail. $50 a tin, any takers?

    What are you smoking?

Love that GBD. I'm smoking a bit of Balkan Sasieni in a Johs. All this wind is making for a quick smoke.

Wanted: Pics of Your Smoking Dens/Man Caves

I see my new Mario Grandi on the bottom shelf of that cabinet. She's in good hands now.

    Aging Irish Flake

To Frost and PB: I'm glad I'm not the only one who has at the very least considered the provisions should zombies overrun the homefront. PB- I will certainly keep in mind the added benefits of Kentucky leaf beyond a decent nicotine kick. Frost- I have drawn up plans for a small plot of corn in...

    What are you smoking?

Stepping out with a Bjarne bent ball and some Sasieni with a Guinness or two. I shall follow that up with some JackKnife Plug and a couple more Guinness. Cheers Brothers.

    What are you smoking?

JackKnife Plug in a Stanwell with some tea. Good smoke, good weather. Planning about three more bowls.
