    Inhaling.

    Been having a discussion about inhaling tobacco while smoking a pipe. I maintain that if you exhale through the nose, then you are inhaling,and it is best not to. I'd like opinions please.

    I have discovered on ebay where I can get the long sems and have made a churchwarden from mulberry wood and have another stem to make my next churchwarden.

    Bite protectors - who uses them and how do you like them?

    I don't like the rubber protectors,so I cut a short length from plastic tubing, and by popping it into hot water for a few seconds you can stretch it over most pipe stems. I have these on all my pipes and they make it easier to clench and protect the stem.

    I have made a few pipes out of beech and the hold up to smoking fine. They are best left in their natural colour in my view .

    I smoke several herbal mixtures for a change Tim. Barmora I smoke the most. Also, Greengo, which is meant for rolling cigarettes, so I mix it with others herbs or tobacco.     Those long stems make a great conversion for the corn cobs. Wish I coujld get those stems here in blighty.

    It smokes really well thanks. I have made a pipe out of olive wood since. I'll put a photoe on soon. This has a nice aroma to it.
