Whats your favorite tobacco and why?

When I was at Pipes and Pleasures in Columbus Oh. the other day I noticed that they had Balkan Sobraine (2 tins, limit 1 per person) and had 3 tins of the highly sought after Penzance tins ( that is after I bought 2 tins lol).

I was wondering what are the benfits of buying an estate(other than break in period) over a new pipe? I ve never owned an estate I have a thing about smoking another persons pipe, but I am looking at the estate market trying to learn a bit.
