    What does B&M Stand for?

Im sooooooooooooo glad you asked the question. The term had me baffled for a while and I'm glad I'm not the one sounding like an idiot for asking. Oops I guess I sound like a :clown: now. :pipe: Who would have guessed it's brick and mortar anyway.

    pipe complement

I thappens all the time when I smoke public places with all kinds of different blends. Unfortunately there is a downside to the story too. I'd say about 1 in 20 comments are negative like "That pipe of your's stink" .

How do you hold your pipe

So much for pipe etiquette. I hold it in the right hand and clench about 20% of the time. FWIW I also eat the wrong way around holding my fork in the left hand and knife in the right hand. I am right handed.

What do you do for a living

I'm a full time cop for the past 24 years and specialise in motor vehicle collisions for now. Used to be riot cop, VIP protection, canine trainer etc. Part time knifemaker since 2000 and member of the SA knifemakers' guild. Hobbyist pipemaker since some time last year but like knifemaking this...

    WOW ...what do you think?

"It has nothing to do with the expense or the cachet. It has everything to do with the soul. I've bought and sold 1000's of pipes in every price range. Slowly but surely I am divesting myself of most of my pipes that are not handmade. There will be a few special pipes that are kept that do...

I treat it like crap, and it wasn't real expensive, but...

A Sav 2699. A perfect smoke every time. I ownly owned one Pete a few years ago. A real gurgler. Thankfully someone stole it. I'm not dumping Pete's just yet. In fact I'm considering to buy one as soon as I get hit by a serious PAD attack again.

Everytime this happens to me I buy a packet of cigarettes. Halfway through the packet I long for my pipes like never before. I guess change is as good as a holiday.

This Year In Chicago! "The BoB's Summit"???

I would love to but the US govt. don't want me there (long story, probably 9/11 paranoia). They declined my visa application to exhibit at a knifeshow in 2004 AND had the audacity to tell me not to try again.

    Hello from SA

Unfortunately I don't have much to share on the topic. When I started making pipes about a year ago I looked for South African pipemakers because I didn't know anything about it really. The only info I could get from the web is this: http://www.pfeifenbox.de/articles/johan_en.htm I got his phone...
