2015 GKC Pipe Club Carver's Contest

It is with extreme pleasure that the GKCPC announces the 2015 Carver's Contest shape will be the Cavalier. The contest will be held at the GKCPC Show June 19-21, 2015 at the Argosy Hotel Spa & Casino in Riverside, MO.

Last year's contest was a huge success and I would love to see this year's be even bigger, more entries as well as raffle tickets sold.  

WarlockBob won the raffle last year.  I'm sure he would love to brag about that a bit! :lol:

You can go to the GKC Pipe Club Website to purchase raffle tickets.  

If you are a carver and would like to enter a pipe you can register and pick up a copy of the contest rules on the same webpage.

For clarification, is the raffle limited to show attenders?

Also, that set of billiards WB won is stunning.

Sorry, I should have put that in.  You don't have to be at the show to purchase tickets and can actually only purchase tickets through the club's website.  If the winner is not present someone from the club will contact them to let them know and arrange shipping.

Calling All Carvers!!!!!

The Chicago Show is winding down today so it's time to start thinking about your GKCPC Carver's Contest entries. Remember this year's shape is the Cavalier. It MUST BE a working Cavalier, just not carved with a little nubbin on the bottom of the bowl somewhere. This year is also a "creative" year....So, pull out your imaginations and get to work!!

Please remember to purchase your Carver's Contest raffle tickets for a chance to win the 7 day set comprised of the winning carver's pipes.  Tickets are 1 for $25 or 4 for $100.  Remember, there are only 400 tickets sold for this raffle, so your odds are extremely good!!  You DO NOT have to be at the show to win and the raffle is open to our International friends as well.

Carvers, please be sure to register for the contest. So far there are only 4 entrants....goona be a lean set Please ask your customers to help support the contest by purchasing raffle tickets. There are only 400 tickets available for the raffle so the odds of winning are fairly good.

If you have not reserved a table for the show there aren't many left. Contact Dan Coomer to put your name on one. Don't forget about the banquet on Saturday night.
