Dropped my car off at Goodyear to have the snow tires put on. Later in the year than I usually do it, but retired in August so didn't feel the normal rush (g).
Stopped off at Big Boys for breakfast with the wife then back home. Walked in the door, phone rang, "Come pick up your car - all done"!
If I needed the car to go to work tonight I would be giving them a call at 4PM to see if it was ready yet!
Gas gauge said it was under half a tank. Filled up. $3.07 a gallon. Checked my last credit slip for when I filled it up last. July 27th.. almost 5 months! Really should sell the car.
Just struck me as odd. No rush for the car...ready PDQ! Don't really need the gas so the price is lower than I've seen it in what seems like years.
