Hawkbill. I like it though and I forget that it's a shape because I just don't run in to it very often. Today I was perusing some Ser Jacopo pipes and apparently they are very MUCH into making this shape. There were at least 4 on the first page but one was not called a Hawbill even though it certainly had the same shape as the others.

Here's the first one called a Picta Picasso Sandblasted Hawkbill:

And here is the second one but it was called a Picta Magritte Walnut Barrel:

Is that not the same basic shape?

I like both of them no matter what they are called. Maybe pipe shapes are like paint colors - I might not agree that a color should be called "Early Morning" but I might like the color itself. Still, isn't that a Hawbill?

Poker hawk. Not sure if due credit goes to Larry Rousch or Giancarlo Guidi.

I like odd pipes, but that sets my "ugly radar" off. Not sure why.

I'll probably like it next month, or randomly come across one and figure "oh well, when am I ever going to see one of these again?" and buy it. *sigh* That's what happened with bulldogs.

Then find 20 more...

...the universe laughs in my face. :p
