Was over a mates place and he had a pair of Archies thongs that's just a brand but they basically look just like ‘normal’ thongs or flip flops, yet provide the same amount of support of a typical orthotic, providing comfort beyond what is thought possible in a regular thong.
They just looked like a pair you would buy in a cheap $2 shop but he said he paid about $40Au or about $27US. I said whattt!!!
I tried them on they felt like a very very comfy runner but without the restriction really amazed me I was sold. I have pretty high arches so they felt like a pillow for my feet compared to the kmart pair I was wearing :D
Just wondering if anyone else wears this type of orthotic thong they sell them in Podiatrist shops over here.

They look a lot cooler and more comfy Niblick (y) I might look at them next purchase they are a bit more than twice the price about $78US or $119AU over here but I can see the worth in the comparison they look great and solid.
 
Yeah, they were thongs back in the day, but flip-flops now I guess. My aunt-in-law (not a young woman) popped into a Walmart on the way to the beach one day and asked the young employee where their thongs were. She gave her kind of an odd look and pointed her towards the lady's underwear :ROFLMAO: !
