I had a hard time deciding on which forum to make this post in. Hopefully I got the right one.

But anyway, I've heard that its better to have a specific pipe for each blend of tobacco. What are you guys opinion on this?

I only use one pipe for aromatics. Va and English are close enough that I do not worry. :|

I have a couple of pipes dedicated to aro's, the rest are English blends only.

I have done that but with a large collection it is hard to keep track.

I rarely smoke anything other than English blends, but even within that genre, there are huge variances in taste and smell, so I tend to keep my rotation blend specific. Pembroke has such a distinctive smell, that I only smoke it out of one Dunhill, as I didn't want a bunch of pipes ghosted in that manner, even though it is a favorite of mine.
