Behike(taino shaman), as far as i know,no cigar is made from just harvested tobacco.I think that you meant a fresh bench made cigar.How do i miss those fresh "yaguitas" from Vinales.

Aging is just the deterioration of the tobacco leaf, which I mentioned on another thread. It gets milder and has less strength. Cigars and pipe tobacco all get older and decay, causing a milder smoke. I have been to several cigar dinners and spoken to blenders of major brands. Some are in favor of aging, and some not. Those not in favor say they blend their cigars for how they taste now, not five years from now, and if you don't like them, maybe you should try something else.
