I recently purchased a like-new pair of loafers by Cole&Haan to replace a pair I ruined during Katrina.Now I'm thinking about getting another pair. Any recommendations/comments are welcome.
 
I know a guy that will make them to order for a good price.  I just picked up a pair of crocodile hide cowboy boots for $450.  This is real crock leather, not print. Very well made boots.  I don't have them on right now or I would post a pic.  I am sure that he could get you a pair.  I can't remember the name of the place, but I will find out tonight and let you know.  He is local to Houston, TX.  He makes a lot of these shoes himself, but can order them made to your specs too.  He deals in exotic leathers.  He has some nice lizard skins that I would love to get my hands on.  He is resoling and re-dying another pair of my boots for $90 total
