On a whim I cleared a path to my oldest and largest cabinet, aptly referred to as my “Cave of Wonders” cabinet. We’ve been in remodel mode for over a year and stacks of boxes have not allowed me near enough to even touch it let alone do the Open Sesame thing. But yesterday I built up my courage and waded into action.
It’s a five foot tall by three foot wide old VCR tape storage thing the face of which swings open like French doors.
I only opened the left side and among the first two things I pulled out were a mason jar and a jelly jar. The mason jar has 2.5oz of McClelland 2015 from 2008 and the jelly jar has 50 gm of McClelland Dark Star from the same year. The next two items were a pound each of C&D Night Train and Exhausted Rooster from 2010. Holy Crap...I even found a couple tins of Momoyama!
Wheeee! This is FUN!
