Anyone here listen to symphonic metal?

I like Nightwish, but prefer Within Temptation. But you never know what I'm gonna be listening to though. Love my jazz, but dig on all kinds of music.

If you don't mind listening to some stuff in Finnish, there's an absolutely awesome and hilarious band called Finntroll; they perform, as they call it, 'trollish hoedown metal'. It's pretty symphonic, but definitely on the darker side. Fun stuff.

I'm also a fan of Dimmu Borgir, if you haven't listened to them.

I know nothing of this genre.  Does this qualify?  I prefer the romantic (classical) composers, but I sort of like this:

Interesting. I kind of like it. Especially the Within Temptation number. I checked the lyrics and they are basically benign (non-satanic).
Lyrics are a big consideration for me.

Not symphonic metal per se, but its ancestors like Celtic Frost, Therion, Sacramentum, Dissection, Sentenced, Summoning, and the like.
