Hey gang, new here! So I accidently received a tin of Drew Estates' Harvest on the Hudson... and loved it. Very appley! Been trying to find other apple blends; have tried Boswell's Apple Streudel (not my favorite!) Any suggestions? Bulk is preferred... but I'll buy tins if needed (just like to be frugal lol)
 
OK...are you sitting down?  I did the painfully obvious thing and went to Tobacco Reviews...pulled up the advanced search...selected only “Apple” as. A flavor in the search criteria. It’s not hard at all

Big Mike - after having looked through the search listings I do have a suggestion. Whether it works for you depends on YOUR taste buds, of course.

There are all kinds of blends on the list...Apple this and apple that.  But there’s one that stands out to me...Santee.  I like the sound of it because the base VA’s are not buried by goopy toppings. You apparently still get the base VA flavors, enhanced by the apple. And it’s not Apple Pie or Apple Black Cherry or Christmas Pudding or some such concoction. It’s just...Apple. Here’s some specifics.

Low Country Santee.  Cornell & Diehl.  VA & Black Cavendish

JimInks Review: The Virginias are sweet with citrus notes, lightly grassy and a little earth. The black cavendish is a minor player, but I got hints of vanilla here and there. The fruitiness (aside from the apple) seems to come more from a topping than from the tobacco, but I'm not sure of the ratio. The apple topping is not strong, but there's enough present for enjoyment without overtaking the tobacco flavor. It is a pleasant addition. Has a mild nic-hit, and will not bite. Burns just a little fast with a consistent flavor, but a moderate to sip pace will prevent any harshness, and reward you with a mild to medium moderately aromatic smoke. Leaves little moisture in the bowl, and requires few relights. An all day smoke.
