BBK Pipe

I was talking to a co-worker today. He said My Grandfather gave me a BBK pipe when he died. I never heard of one. He went home at lunch and got it. It say's BBK in a circle on the stem, Like those GBD I have been seeing on the bay. under the bottom is stamped WEEK-END just like that, on the right side if you had the stem in your mouth is stamped 914. How do I find out if it is worth a little or a lot? It is beautiful and passes the cleaner test if you remove the stinger. He wants 50.00.

Any suggestions?

I gave him 25.00 and told him and I would let him know if it was worth more. He could be thankful for that much. He took it and I took the pipe ! It is worth that to just hold. If I believe what pipedia say's.
