I was wondering what books you all out there enjoy while smoking a pipe. I am currently reading Patrick O'Brian's Master and Commander and, I have to say, that it goes very well with a nice bowl of Penzance.

Cheers,
Joshua

I apologize in advance if there is already a thread on this topic

Currently reading Catch 22 by Joseph Heller & Revenge of the Lawn by Richard Brautigan.

During the day & socialising I typically smoke cigars, but I look forward to an evening pipe while reading.

Joshua (et al), I'm going to move this topic down to the Book Shelf area sometime tomorrow--it's not de-rezzed, just look for it there.

As for me, I stick to poetry if anything while smoking... I have bad eyes, and I usually hold my books closer than a pipe will allow. (Fortunately I can write and compute whilst smoking, thanks be to adjustable type sizes.)

Nothing like an oom paul full of english blend and a good mystery. When I'm feeling puckish I smoke Peterson Sherlock Holmes in my Sherlock meer and read the canon.
