C&D has I believe four burley flakes out now and I would like to hear some opinions on the merits of each one. The last C&D burley flake I tried was Safe Harbor Flake and I was not impressed. I'm hoping these are better.

I must admit that I miss the point of burley. I smoked #1, or #1 & #2, I can't remember, and I was not impressed. But then again I've not been impressed by any of the dozen burleys I've tried except for OJK and Somerset Slices.
 

I to find it hard to enjoy straight burley.

Reviews say if one can stick with it, that one day it would reveal it's self and offer up a wonderful flavor.

I'm still waiting for that day. :x
 
Blackhorse should be chiming in any time now as one of the resident Burley lovers. I found these very strong in vitamin N - just me.
