Historically there hasn't been a lot of traffic in "The Humidor", and a CAD section hasn't been been pursued to my knowledge.

It might be interesting to see what others are buying and get tips on sales and specials that the various cigar sites are running. Maybe a quick rating could fit into the format.

If you have any recent purchases start listing them here, let's see where it goes. If it becomes a hot topic I'll present it to the council.

Maybe a "sticky" is in order keeping it at the top like the BOB acronym guide. Adding it obviously depends on usage.

Any input guys?

Yeah I'm not sure how viral this could be.. LOL

Pueblo Dominicano A good cigar medium to full body smooth earthy flavor nice ash

Reached a verdict on these yet, Big C? I'm seeing them at $40 for 50 now and wondering if I should pull the trigger.

No Sir, I am aging them I have had 3 and they just seem well, rough around the edges, I don't plan on smoking them until grass cutting season gets here, I don't think I would recommend them unless you have some time to let them age

Thanks for the info, Harry. I think I'll take a pass on those and order some Flor de Olivas instead. They're my go-to cheap sticks.

I have about 250 cigars sitting and aging right now. It's too cold in PA to stand outside for an hour to smoke a good cigar, I can't wait for spring. I prefer medium to full body cigars. Some of my favorite cigars are:
Ashton VSG
Perdomo Habano & Champagne Noir
Rocky Patel Vintage 1990 & 1992
Gurkha - Haven't had one that I don't like yet
Man O War Ruination & Virtue isn't bad for a mild cigar
Diesel Unholy Cocktail
CAO La Traviata (which you can only buy in B&Ms)
5 Vegas Gold Maduro and Series A (the gold maduro is a good daily smoke if you let them age for a few weeks before smoking)

I buy boxes or bulk from cigars international when they have sales and I can get good smokes for $3 a stick, and also pick up smokes from my local B&M when I stop in. I usually only buy 3 or 4 from the B&M because i hate paying $10 for a cigar when I can get them for $5, but like to support the B&M. A friend of mine has sent me cigarbid, but I haven't followed up on that at this point. He gets a lot of good deals buying 5 cigars at a time and sometimes on boxes.

I bought some El Titan de Bronze recently from Bonita Smoke Shop (Bonita Springs, Fl.). They weren't on special or anything, but I've been ordering from them for months have have never had a problem. They get the cigars out the same day if you order before 2pm EST, they are fresh and packed well, its just a great company to deal with. If you're looking for a good walk-in cigar store that is also a great mail order store try Bonita Smoke Shop. They have a store label 15th ann. cigar that is fantastic and last time I bought them were under $8.00 a stick.

If you sign up for Thompson Cigar's email list and make an order they send you a coupon every six months for 20% off your entire order. That's about the only time I use Thompson's. This time around I got a sampler of 12 Nubs and a box of La Aurora Cameroon Belicosos. Price per stick: just about $2.50; not bad in my book.
