Hi,

While looking on Ebay earlier today I came across this estate bulldog that caught my attention, I dont know if I am going to bid on it yet but I am curious as to who (carver/Company) made it (I tried googling it first and nothing came up).

Any help is greatly appreciated. :D

Could have been made for a tobacco shop by one of the many factories. Hope some one in the know pipes up!

A lot of now-defunct tobacco shops had custom pipes made, sometimes by reputable companies, that only bear the store's name Sometimes it's impossible to tell where they came from, but can be a great way to get awesome pipes on the cheap. Just gotta get familiar with details, asking sellers for lots of extra pictures of areas you want to see, and knowing what gives you the best chance of getting one that's made well.

And there you have the whole putting a rotation together on a budget issue in a nutshell.
