Poker buddy had me try a tin of Capstan that was tinned in the 80s. It was unbelievable. Smooth as silk, flavors galore. Sweet and hints of bright fruit like an apple. Later I smoked my usual P.S. Luxury Twist and it almost tasted harsh. I look at my buddy and said thanks for ruining me!

What a treat to smoke this aged tobac!


 
Congrats! Oldest Va I've ever had a bowl of was 30 yrs. It was sublime. I can only imagine. :cheers:

And he probably didn't feel any remorse for ruining all other tobaccos for you lol.
 
Picked up an older tin like the one in the above picture in a buy from a BoB last year. Had Spanish language on the back, but the smoke was totally sublime!! I have several of the newer tins aging at the moment.Will be interesting to see how they compare to the older stuff!! :cheers: FTRPLT
