I'm a Catholic Permanent Deacon; and often enjoy my pipe with my Breviary,especially in the morning....came across this today and thought I'd share it today for those so inclined.....

The Celtic Prayer Pipe

Of all the external aids to supplication,
I know of none more suitable
to the male soul for Christocentric devotion
than the Celtic prayer pipe.
The feel of fine briar in the hand
anchors the supplicant in his earthly reality,
while the aromatic smoke arising from the bowl
carries his thoughts, his heart, his soul heavenward.

I actually came across that googling peterson's "celtic" pipe, though I doubt Peterson offers any prayers other than for more sales....

I have no idea who Woodie is or was, searching that name reveals men who are on facebook or linkedin and am sure suffered greatly in high school - any maybe after...lol

and, am about to have a bowl of presbyterian in a few minutes - just got tin the other day at Barclay Rex in NYC.....also 3 Nuns....

I do a lot of puffing and praying. I will probably have some Three Friars in my next tobacco order. I have considered trying Chief Catoonah's Parson's Pipe as well.

We need to get a bishop on the forum.

From a simple post some great new tobacco suggestions!

There is something 'liturgical' about the pipe - and it lends itself to contemplation of all kinds....praying and puffing go together for me as well....

Three Friars may be worth a try - that's a C&D right?

I thought baby's Bottom was from Dunhill- that an old tin??

Got a new meer that will make it's debut tonight....pics to follow....

I remember seeing that blend in several shops I wen't in back in the 70's but never smoked any. I understand it was very good and was made by Dunhill ?
