Chris Asteriou Classics

Hello friends,

Just added a few classics to the stable...(prince and Don shapes)...a matched set of army mount classics with silver that I commissioned from one of my favorite carvers, Chris Asteriou.  The pipes are have been scaled down to meet my size parameters, and IMO Chris nailed the proportions.  Both are presented in a lovely dark stain with ring grain blast.  Chris makes excellent pipes, and some of the most comfortable stems in the business.  These pipes both dangle effortlessly from the jaw, and smoke open and cool.  

Just thought I'd share my joy and a few photos.
